New to running or looking to get back into the swing? Check out our program Let’s Get Running, which is available in our Marquette and Houghton locations! Headed by our coaches Cherise Wilkins (Marquette) and Alex Guy (Houghton) you can be sure that you will be ready to hit the ground running when the Dead Carp and Spring Awakening roll around for Marquette and Houghton respectively, which this program includes in the price!

What
A coach-led 9 week training program designed for those wishing to get into the wonderful world of running. The goal of the program is to build confidence and safely build experience with the goal of running a 5K race!
Who
Whether you are brand new to running, used to run and want to get back into it, or just looking for a community of like-minded individuals to share your running journey with, Let’s Get Running is for you!
When
The program will meet once a week on Mondays with an experienced coach for the group workout. Plan to spend two additional days to accomplish your running homework on your own. Specific details will be different for the Houghton and Marquette programs.
Where
Each program will have a specific shared space to start from each week that will be communicated in all participant emails.
Goal Race
All participants will receive complimentary registration into the Dead Carp 5K (Marquette) or Spring Awakening (Houghton).
Additional Perks
All participants will receive exclusive discounts at Queen City Running Company during the duration of the program.
