Let’s Run Farther!
Looking to take your running to the next level? Check out our newest program, Let’s Run Farther! This program introduces speed work into your running routine to help propel your running forward! Leaping off of the Let’s Get Running 5K program this new program will guide you to the 10K distance faster and stronger than ever before!
Headed by certified coach Cherise Wilkins, and guided through the 9 week program. You’ll be ready for the Run Iron Mountain 10K on September 20th with included race entry!

What
A coach-led 9 week training program leading to the 10K distance. The goal of the program is to provide guidance and workouts that will build to a 10K race. The program will meet for a group Speed Work session, which will primarily be time-based so that both newer runners and experienced runners can find value and strength in the workout! There will also be a program to follow with homework runs building up to the 10K distance.
Who
Anyone looking to tackle the 10K distance. If this is your first time running a 10K or whether you are looking for more guidance on taking your 10K to the next level this program could be for you.
When
Tuesdays at 5:45 PM. Starting July 22nd through Tuesday September 16th.
The program will meet once a week for 9 weeks with an experienced coach leading the way. Groups workouts will take place Tuesdays starting at 5:45 PM on July 22nd and will continue through Tuesday September 16th. Plan to spend two to three additional days to accomplish your running homework on your own.
Where
South Beach Parking Lot, 501 S Lake St., Marquette, MI. Meet in the parking lot, we’ll be warming up together and running on both the multi-use path and well as local streets.
Goal Race
All participants will receive complimentary registration into the Run Iron Mountain 10K on September 20th.
